Add a shape to your document by using the easy-to-use shape tool.
- From the Popular or Annotate categories, select the Shape tool.
- Click the dropdown arrow for more options.
- Choose Style: this is where you can select your shape.
- Text Frame:
- Fill: this is where you can choose to have your shape filled. Click No Fill if you prefer the shape to be transparent.
- Stroke: this is where you can choose the color and thickness of your shape's border.
- Opacity: this is where you can adjust the transparency of the entire shape.
- Drag the cursor on the page to create your shape.
- To edit your shape, click it to make the toolbar and rotate option appear.

- Drag the rotate tool to rotate your shape.
- Select the toolbar option you require to bring forward, send to back, comment on, style, delete, or hyperlink the shape.
Note: You can drag and drop the shape to other areas of the page you're working on.
Tip: You can select Shapes by using keyboard shortcuts.
