How do I use the View controls?

The View controls change how a document is laid out on your screen and how a page transitions to another page.

  1. Open a document in Lumin PDF.
  2. Select the View controls option in the toolbar.

The Page transition and Layout options appear.

Layout lets you change how a document is laid out on your screen.

    The options are:

    • single - only one page is displayed at any time
    • double - pages are displayed in pairs
    • cover - the cover (first) page is displayed, scroll down to see the following pages

    Page transition

Page transition lets you choose how a document's pages transition when you scroll or pan to another page.

    The options are:

    • page by page - when you scroll or pan down, the next page will suddenly replace the previous one
    • continuous - the next page will become visible as you scroll or pan down to bottom of a previous page

Other ways to move between pages

    Page selector

At the bottom of the screen in a multi-page document is a page selector.

Use it to jump to the page you require.

TIP: You can choose to go to:

    • the next or previous page using the two middle buttons  View-controls-page-selector-next
    • the first or last page using the outer buttons  View-controls-page-selector-last

Select the Pan tool to use your mouse (left-click) to manually move up and down a page and between pages.

Find the Pan tool under the More Tools option on a document's toolbar.
