The View controls change how a document is laid out on your screen and how a page transitions to another page.
- Open a document in Lumin PDF.
- Select the View controls option in the toolbar.
- The Page transition and Layout options appear.
Layout
Layout lets you change how a document is laid out on your screen.
The options are:
- Single - only one page is displayed at any time
- Double - pages are displayed in pairs
- Cover - the cover (first) page is displayed, scroll down to see the following pages
Page transition
Page transition lets you choose how a document's pages transition when you scroll or pan to another page.
The options are:
- Page by page - when you scroll or pan down, the next page will suddenly replace the previous one
- Continuous - the next page will become visible as you scroll or pan down to the bottom of a previous page
Other ways to move between pages
Page Selector
At the bottom of the screen in a multi-page document is a page selector.
Use it to jump to the page you require.
Tip: You can choose to go to:
- the next or previous page using the two middle buttons
- the first or last page using the outer buttons
Pan
Use the Pan tool to use your mouse (left-click) to manually move up and down a page and between pages.
Find the Pan tool on the document's toolbar.
