How do I merge PDF documents?

Use the Lumin merge tool to combine multiple PDF documents into one with ease.


  1. Select the Page Tools from the main menu bar.Merge
  2. Click the Merge tool.Merge 1
  3. Click Upload files and choose where you'd like to upload from.Merge 2
  4. Select the file(s) you want to merge into the document - you can select to upload multiple files at a time. 
  5. Select Insert all pages to merge the entire document.
    1. Enter a comma-separated list of pages to insert if you only want to merge some pages of the uploaded document.
    2. Under the Location field, select where you would like to insert the uploaded document(s).
  6. Click Merge, then confirm by clicking Merge again.Merge 4

Merge files using the AI chatbot

  1. Open the file, and in the Editor, select the AI Assistant located in the top right corner.
  2. Click Add file to upload the document you wish to merge. You can upload files saved in your device or Google Drive. 
  3. Finally, use the prompt 'Merge this document before or after page x'.
