Use Lumin's built-in OCR tool on your scanned documents to make them readable, searchable, and editable.
NOTE: The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool is only available for users on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans.
- Upload a scanned document.
- A banner should appear if the editor recognizes the file is a scanned document
- Click Perform OCR to make the document or image readable, searchable, and editable.
- If the banner doesn't appear, head over to Page Tools.
- On the left-hand side, locate OCR and click Perform OCR.
- If the banner doesn't appear, head over to Page Tools.
- Then, once it's finished, a banner to confirm the action is complete will appear in the top-right corner.
