How do I restore my file's original version?

Mistakes can be easily made when making edits on documents, read on to find out how you can easily restore your document's original version.

NOTE: This feature only works on documents stored in Google Drive or Dropbox.

  1. While making annotations or editing a document, you can easily identify a document's syncing and saving status here:

  2. To restore a document to its original version, you can click this hyperlink.

  3. After clicking the link, you will be taken to a preview of the current version of the document and other saved versions.

  4. Click the Original version, then click Restore.

  5. Click, Restore to complete the action.

WARNING: This action is irreversible. When a document is restored, ALL annotations/edits will be removed.
