How do I sync/save a document in Lumin to Google Drive?

A document stored in Google Drive is editable in Lumin. Turn Auto Sync on which will ensure that any edits you make to the document in Lumin are automatically saved in Drive.

How do I sync/save my work back to the original Google Drive document? 

  1. Open the Google Drive document you want to edit.
  2. Annotate and fill your document as necessary.
  3. Ensure Auto-sync is turned on; this setting is located in the menu section on the top right corner.
  4. After editing in Lumin, go back to your Google Drive, refresh the page and your new edits will show in the Drive document.

NOTE: To perform a sync, you must be the owner of the document. If you are only a viewer or commenter, you must request edit permissions with the document's owner in Google Drive. 


How do I save a new copy of a document into Google Drive? 

  1. Open the Google Drive document.
  2. Click the menu button and then select Make a copy in the top toolbar when you're ready to create a new copy of the document in Google Drive.
  3. Select Google Drive.
  4. Select where in your Google Drive you’d like to save the copy. You can click Change to update its location.
  5. Click Copy to confirm.
