How do I create a Space within my Workspace?

Spaces are subgroups of people inside a Workspace. Create teams from the Space screen in your Workspace.

Note: Any member of a Workspace can create a Space. Spaces can be created in al Lumin plans.



  1. Log in to Lumin.
  2. Click the plan dropdown on the top-left of the screen.


  3. Select the required Workspace from the Your Workspaces list.
  4. Click Spaces (in the left-hand sidebar).

  5. Click Create New.
  6. Enter a Space name.
  7. Add Space members as required (Space members can only be chosen from members in your Workspace).
    1. Enter the email address of a person you want to add to the Space.
    2. If the person is a member of the Workspace to which the Space belongs, their name and email address automatically appears under Members below the Add member field.
    3. Click the box with the name and email address. The person is added to a list below the Add member field.

    4. Search and add to the list as many people as you require.
  8. Once you have selected all the desired team members, proceed by clicking the Create button.
  9. Once your Space has been created, you can easily access it on the left-hand menu under Spaces
