How do I embed a hyperlink?

Embed URL and external websites into your Lumin document text to link out to web resources or somewhere else in your document.

Embed a hyperlink to a URL:

  1. Using the select tool, highlight the word or phrase. If it is a text box, click the text box.

  2. A tool bar will appear underneath the selected item(s), from here, select the hyperlink 🔗 icon.

  3. Select the URL tab, paste your link into the field, then click Link URL.

Embed a hyperlink to another page in your document:

  1. Using the select tool, highlight the word or phrase. If it is a text box, click the text box.

  2. A tool bar will appear underneath the selected item(s), from here, select the hyperlink 🔗 icon.

  3. Select the Page tab and enter the page number you would like to reference. Once done, press the Link page button.

Navigate to the link:

  1. Click on the linked text.

  2. Select the navigate button.

  3. If it is a hyperlink to a website, a new tab will open in your browser with the linked webpage. If it is a hyperlink to a page, you will be navigated to that page.

NOTE: If your document already contains a formatted link, i.e. https://www.luminpdf.com, Lumin will recognize it as a link so it will be clickable.
